What Codec to Use?
I just did a clean install of WinXPHome, SP2, on my pc. I haven't
installed any video players, like Windows Media Player 10 or 11, or
PowerDVD, etc, yet. I will eventually install more than one video
player, but I know WMP doesn't come with a DVD codec. It's my
understanding that if I do install something like PowerDVD, which has
it's own DVD codec, WMP will use this codec. Is this true?

I will aslo use VLC for things like streaming video, but I won't use
it for DVD playing.

Can I assign different codecs to each DVD player? Do different codes
work 'better' with different players?

What would be your approach?
