I had to reload Vista. In the process I cannot "sync" anymore with my Treo 700wx. I tried to install Mobile Device Center again and it gets to the end of the installation and then the progression bar "backs up" and the entire thing just quits. Any ideas? Thanks, Mitch
I had a similar problem and occasionally got the error message "2203" which means that a critical file is missing (of course, I was getting the same error message on 3 different machines with clean Vista installations...). Eventually on one random installation of MDCD 6.1 an "unknown device driver" was installed and the installation program worked. I am having a similar problem. I get through installation and no errors. I get the unknown device message, but it still won't sync. I have the phone connected via Verizon so windows recognizes the phone, but WMDC does not.
