Win xp version 2002 and windows media player
Hi, My op system is windows xp home edition version 2002, I used to watch all
the movies via windows media player before, two days ago, I had a problem
with my machine then they fixed it, now I can't watch the movies via windows
media player, tried to download version 11 but it gave me an error saying
it's not supported by my system so I tried tod ownload version 10 now it says
it couldn't be completed, please try again. I tried 5 times but still same
rror. What kind of windows media player I can install for Windows XP Home
Edition Version 2002? how can I upgarde my XP Home Edition Version 2002 to
Service pack2 so it can support windows media player version 11.

Please help me.

Re: Win xp version 2002 and windows media player
You are posting in the wrong newsgroup, this one is for Windows Media Center
(XP or Vista version), your question would do better in an XP Home General
forum.

Basically, you don't do anything other than running the Windows Update and
let it install SP2.

Strange your system hasn't been updated yet, SP2 has been around for many
years, SP3 was released months ago.

A search engine works well for finding things on the internet, see some
results here.
