I use Windows Media Server on Windows 2008 Enterprise. I have installed it with Web-Admin and IIS as Role. Ondemand- and Live-Streaming works very well, but i can't see connected players or allocated Bandwith in monitor from MMC-Snap-in or Web-Admin. Client Logging even works and I see player connections in logfile. The values for connected players and allocated Bandwith in monitor stays '0'. Under Network tab in 'Reliability and Performance', i can see the Traffic between the Clients and wmserer.exe . What can I do to see these Clients even in Monitor tab? Sorry for my bad english. Thanks. Dirk Tanneberger
I'm experiencing the same problem running Windows Media Services version 9.5.6001.18223 on Windows Server 2008 32bit Web Edition I've tried removing the Role and re-installing it, still with no luck. Players are able to connect and view movies, however, the Monitor tab never shows any activity. The "Windows Media Performance Monitor" only shows "% Processor Time" and nothing else. Thanks in advance for any assistance.
