Hi! Does anyone know if WMP11 will handle subtitles differently from older versions? I would lilke to be able to show subtitles in a layer on top of the video without actually encoding the subtitles into the media file before it is streamed. All help and tips appreciated! Michael

No, I've tested it, it's pretty much the same. There's still no facility for text overlays as you might do in Quicktime - I'd use instead layering in your video editing tool to manage the overlays as video images.
