Visualizations from Line In
Hello all -

I'm trying to get WMP -- v9, 10 or 11 -- to display its visualizations
in response to audio coming into the sound card (in real time), as
opposed to media files played by WMP itself.

Someone told me that there is a trick that will allow this, but he
couldn't remember it.

Does anyone here have any ideas? Or might there be a better place to
ask?

Also, is there a viz plugins SDK or any docs on building these?

Thanks!

Re: Visualizations from Line In
Ianier Munoz wrote a line-in visualization that does this:
 http://www.chronotron.com/content.php?page=products
- that sounds like what you want.

Brilliant! Munoz and crew look like they have some other useful stuff
as well.

Any clues about the other part of the question -- is there a plugins
SDK, or any documentation on how to write these, what the interface
is, etc?

Re: Visualizations from Line In
Yeah, MSDN should have it all. =)
