ihave mp3 files load on a cd . i am trying to loaded these into my media player library but it will not allow me to rip these files they will play as long as the cd is in but will not rip to library what am i doing wrong thanks -- jerry garvick
Don't "rip" them (that is for Audio CDs) - just copy all the mp3 files from your Cd to your hard drive (same place where your other music files are) and media player will be able to play them. Make sure to have media player import/update these to your library. To incorporate these tracks, use windows explorer to Copy + Paste the files from the CD, to a folder under "My Music" - for example, create a folder under Unknown Artist holding the CD compliation title HTH Cheers - Neil ------------------------------------------------ Digital Media MVP : 2004-2009 http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/mvpfaqs
