I was cleaning out my address book and I deleted an important entry. How do i recover it? Thanks Double Tap
D an Advanced Search and include Hidden Files and Folders. Search for: *.wab You will probably find more than one an likely, the missing address will be in one of them. If you find it, the easiest way to get it back is to write it down and then add it back in your current AB. -- Bruce Hagen MS-MVP Outlook Express Imperial Beach, CA "Double Tap" wrote in message news:Z4qdnVzAELWNVSnVnZ2dnUVZ_hydnZ2d@earthlink.com... >I was cleaning out my address book and I deleted an important entry. > How do i recover it? > Thanks > Double Tap >
You must call venty
1. Enable Show Hidden Files and Folders: www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial62.html 2. In Windows Explorer, search on " *.WA* " (without the quotes). 3. If you find a file with a WAB~ extension, Copy (not Move) it to your desktop, Rename it with a WAB extension, open it & see if the missing address is listed. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-IE, Mail, Security, Windows Desktop Experience - since 2002 AumHa VSOP & Admin http://aumha.net DTS-L http://dts-l.net/ Double Tap wrote: > I was cleaning out my address book and I deleted an important entry. > How do i recover it? > Thanks > Double Tap
