Red & Black
OS Wind.XPPro with OE

All the titles of the Newsgroups in my OE were in black colour, but suddenly
one title changed colour to red!

Why did this happen and how do I change it back to red? Thank you.

You have an unread message in a Watched thread in that newgroup.

Re: Red & Black
Thank you for the answer. I fixed it.

However, would you please kindly explain to me (and others maybe) why a
posting of 18/07/05 by a Dunko titled RE: Error Code: 80246008, which has
nothing to do with me be required to be read by me?

In addition it appears in red in Microsoft Newsgroup "Windowsupdate" and has
a pair of reading glasses to the left of the title. What does all that mean
and how does it happen? Thank you.

Why do you say it's required?

The eyeglasses indicate that you have set the thread to be watched by
clicking in the Watched column.

Re: Red & Black
I did not do either and when I experimented on changing the colour of the
Subject matter and removing the glasses several of other Subject matters
changed colour to red and the glasses appeared against them as well.

Eventually the only way of correcting this was to Unsubscribe this
particular News Title and reinstall it. It worked!

Many thanks for all the contributions.
