IE: IDownloadManager not long for this world?
In preparing to launch into a new project I've noticed that there is an
absolute dearth of information on msdn.com about IDownloadManager. I am left
to wonder:

    * Why is MSDN support for IDownloadManager so scarce?
    * Does IDownloadManager work in XP SP2 and later?
    * Did IDownloadManager become a security liability?
    * Will IDownloadManager be going away with IE 7?
    * Did IDownloadManager already go away?

Curious minds want to know... I'm looking to provide my own download manager
for IE (not just the web browser control).
