media player stops on mouseover or onclick   

I have a Media Player on a page. Whenever an "active" graphic on the page is 
moused over or clicked the player stops, and has to be started again 
manually. This only happens in IE on a Windows machine. It doesn't happen 
with Firefox ona windows PC or on a Mac using IE.
