I'm a new user of windows 2000, and have been unable to open any email messages, or reply or forward them. A window appears when I click on a message saying "an error has occurred." There's no "details" tab or any other information provided as to why the message cant be opened. Same error message appears when I click on reply or forward. I believe the settings are correct.
We need the complete text of the error message. See if any of the info here helps: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=an+error+has+occured+site%3Amicrosoft.com -- Jim Pickering, MVP, Outlook Express https://mvp.support.microsoft.com/profile=F9F51EF1-4AE3-4D23-B2D8-1171988A62D6 Please deliver feedback to the newsgroup, so that others can be helped.
