Re: outlook express is missing the send again button
No such feature in OE.
But there is a workaround:
To use a template message in Outlook Express
- Start a new message.
- Fill in as much as you want. TO, CC, BCC, SUBJECT, body, etc.
- If you include an attachment at this point, a copy gets saved with
the template and it may not get updated if you later update the original
file before sending
- Do a File, Save As to an *.EML file. Save to the Desktop, or any
other Windows folder. Create a short cut to the *.EML file if you like.
- To use the template either double click it from the Desktop, Windows
File Explorer or any short cut that you may have created to the file.
- Make any changes and send as normal. The template will remain as it
was for future use.
If you want to start with a previously sent message, do a File, Save As
of the message to an EML file (or drag-and-drop). Open the EML file in
Notepad. Add the line
X-Unsent: 1
to the message header (after the DATE: line is a good spot). Save the
file, then double click the EML file from the Windows File Explorer.
You can now modify and send the message.
