IE Session Terminates
If I'm in Internet Explorer reading my Email, the session seems to
disappear if I open/close jpeg files (for instance) in Windows Explorer
in another window.

Sometimes when I switch to Windows Explorer to view jpegs, etc., and my
IE session seems to have disappeared, if I click on the "Back" button
in Windows Explorer, it returns to the presumed disappeared IE session.

What's happening here? I hate it! How do I stop this from happening,
is sucks!

Thank you.

Re: IE Session Terminates
Hi,
If the problem is that you can only have one IE window open at a time, try
this:

From IE> Tools> Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing> uncheck "Reuse windows
for launching shortcuts."

And... you may have a toolbar or program running which is blocking
pop-up windows- something like Yahoo Companion, Google toolbar, MSN toolbar,
etc.
Yahoo Companion is a very common cause.

You'll have to turn off the feature that's blocking new windows or, perhaps,
uninstall the program.

With some programs of this type, using Ctrl+click or Shift+click will allow
a new window.

If you're sure that another program isn't causing this, these links should
help.
