View an HTML page that's in XML format?
Using IE 5.5(sp2) on win 2000 (sp4)

I have an HTM file in XML format i.e the first line starts off like -

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="iso-8859-1"?>

 when I open the file in IE it just shows these XML lines - how can I view
the actual HTML output?

I've changed the XML file type from IE to another app (not relevant but set
it to use cooktop) but it still displays just the XML lines?

Surely this is possible?

thanks

harry
