Need a little help here. About 2 months ago, my ie started to slow down significantly (on start-up, and when I click on a link on a web page). I believe my system is virus free, the connection speed is fine, and I recently downloaded Spybot S&D. My computer is getting a little old (about 7 years), but with 256 mb RAM, I would think it still has some life left:-)) Any suggestions?? Thanks Eric
You downloaded Spybot S & D. Did you update it? No one program catches all spyware. You might be infested with malware. Thanks. I did update the program, before I ran it............Located 15 infections. IE is still very slow (it literally takes minutes) on start-up, and when I click on links. Doesn't Spybot S&D locate malware? If not, any suggestions on how to check? Perhaps my system is too just too plain old??
