Passing parameters from IE to a bat file   

HI,

I have a local bat file on my pc .I am calling the bat file from IE
browser (webpage) using hyperlink.
The problem how to pass values to the batfile.I tried with
C:/a.bat?Param="1"
But in bat file  i am unable to print the value,
Any help is appreciated..
