Address line deletes   

When I typing a web address on the URL line it deletes before I can type it 
in. For instance, if I were typing in www.microsoft.com, after I type "www.", 
it becomes highlighted, so when I type in the "m", it deletes. Is this a 
problem with the operating system, modem, or processor? Any suggestions?

Hmmm, this is an interesting one... try this.

Go to IE tools, internet options, content, autocomplete and turn off the web 
addresses option.
