I have recently reset web settings in internet options and it has changed my homepage from google to MSN. I cannot change it back as all the buttons, "use current" "use default" "use blank" are greyed out. How do I activate them again? thanks for any replies

How do I activate them again? thanks for any replies Most probably you have Spybot or Ad-Aware or some similar program set to protect these settings. You will have to investigate to see whih it is and how to change the settings. BTW, when the settings were reset you WERE offered an option not to change the home page. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE Please respond in Newsgroup. Frank you are a star! I discovered it was microsofts antispyware beta which had rightly locked my homepage to stop browser hi-jacking. I have just changed the settings and google is now back in place. Thankyou for your quick and very helpful advice.
