I am running Windows 2000 Pro SP4 on a PC and I tried to run Windows update and I got the error message code 0x80072F8F. I checked the date and time and they are correct. I uncheck in internet Options what I am supposed to uncheck which in fact wasn't checked. Then I tried the third solution and there in Run I typed regsvr32 Softpub.dll, and then click OK. and I got no problem but when I tried Wintrust.dll ⢠Initpki.dll ⢠Mssip32.dll I got the message saying I am trying to open a DLL application and with which program do I want to open them. I don't know what to do. Can someone help me please.
