net use help   

my workgroupname is : 178john
the computer name is: computer1
the device is a printer on lpt1
shared printer name is:hp
I used the commend line but to no avail

net use [lpt1:]\\178john\computer1\printer_share/persistent:yes


any suggestions would be greatly apprecieated.
