Network printer gone 'missing'
Hi all

Sorry if the following info is a bit vague but I'm on holiday for a few
days - however I spent the last two days at work struggling with this
problem:

I've inherited a small network running Server2000. This was setup with two
networked printers which were accessed by a startup batch file set through
Group Policies set to each workstation in the OU.

Recently this batch file started to call only one of the printers for most
workstations (for some it would find none!) The missing printer could still
be browsed to and installed manually. There were no significant errors in
the recent viewer logs - I have mucked around with the batch file and group
policies and I am certain that the problem lies elsewhere.
The printer has been reinstalled on the network (HP2200 Laser). Server has
been rebooted.

I am truly puzzled about this one - all help welcome -Bob
