Hello all: I have an end user that is runnign Windows 2000 sp4 and has 1 gig of ram. After she logs in she gets the errror message " Your maximum registry size is too small. To ensure that Windows runs properly, increase your maximum registry size. For mor information, see help." I went to help and it did not tell me much. Thank you for your help. -- Anthony GO REDSOX!!!!!!
Look in the Help file for RSL (Registry Size Limit), it will tell you how to increase the size, an increase of 1MB shoud be sufficient, increase it in 1MB increments only. This may be a one time only problem but you should not allow this to go unchecked, it may cause major headaches down the road if there is an underlying problem. How big is the registry? How big is the System hive? Look in the Event Viewer to see if any error messages are logged.
