Recorded DVD not recognized in Windows   

A by a stand-alone DVD recorder made DVD is recognized in Windows (Explorer) 
and therefore not played in WMP. This DVD however plays in PowerDVD ?

Power DVD is a DVD encoder (dvd software),try downloading windows dvd
 check-up utlity from microsoft & see where powerdvd stands with it.And/or
 in WMP,open tools,options,select the dvd tab.
