Hi We are using WinXP Version 2002 SP2. We are getting the following error when printing to HP Laserjet 3055. PCL XL error Subsystem: KERNEL Error: Illegal Tag Operator: 0x1b Position: 6 The printout is coming only from my laptop. My colleague's laptop shows this error. We have reinstalled the driver also. The driver version is 10.1.1.3; HPZid412.sys
You are along the right lines suspecting the driver. This printer appears to be discontinued. Where are you seeing this version number? In HPZid412.sys VERSIONINFO? Anyway, it is possible this driver is newer than yours.
