Problem starting windows xp   
Hi I have win xp on my computer when I turn it on the computer comes on but 
theres no beeb noise I have to keep pushing the restart button a lot of 
times to get it started, what should I do to try to fix this

You have a hardware problem, you can try reseating the memory and unplugging 
attached devices to see if you can track down the problem.
Maybe be a faulty motherboard or power supply.

If you have to ask, I would highly recommend you take your PC to a competent 
repair shop.

What restart button are you pushing? I don't remember such an animal.

Sorry to hear that I had a stem cell transplant and so far so good.
I have two buttons one that turns the computer and I always was thinking the 
other one was a restart button if you push it the computer screen goes black 
and then it restartes windowns

Oh.  That's not a 'Restart' button, it's a 'Reset' button to be used only 
when you can't restart the computer properly.  The Restart in the Shut Down 
box goes through a clean shutdown before restarting.  The Reset button just 
powers the computer off and then on, a 'dirty' shutdown that can cause 
damage to Windows.
