The menu "Install Fonts" is in the Fonts Folder, allright, but I canot copy/paste the downloaded font-files in there, nor can I look for them in the List of Fonts Felix "Malke" wrote: > Felix wrote: > > > I downloaded 2 new fonts (now stored on desktop) but I canot copy them > > into the font folder: the paste command is not active. What happens when you try? Perhaps you should try downloading the fonts again. Otherwise, please provide more details such as the file name and file type of the fonts (ex. myfont.ttf). Remember that no one reading your posts can see your computer. For all I know the font files you downloaded are the wrong file type for your computer. If you can't see the file extension (the last three letters after the "dot" in a file name), go to Control Panel>Folder Options>View tab and uncheck the box that hides the file extensions. In Windows Explorer, when you double click on the "page from windows" what happens? If you paid for them, contact the seller and download them again. If they were free, I'd download them again - probably from another source. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic! Not sure what/where your list of fonts is located. What folder have you downloaded your fonts to? I made a special folder to download my fonts into - I go there and select my font to install. -- I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number of carats in a diamond. Hi Felix, Can't you just "drag and drop" the fonts from desktop to C:\WINDOWS\Fonts folder? That's what I do. Andy I.
