I would appreciate if anyone could let me know wether it is possible to block a specific address (wesite) when using Internet Explorer. I am aware that you can adjust the 'rating' to block certain content but rarther than do this I would prefer to block a specific website so this cannot be accessed using my browser. Your help or advice is much appreciated. Rob.
If you have a recent version of IE you can use "Content Advisor" to block websites. It is under Tools...Internet Options.....Content Tab in IE. arnieh "Eos" wrote: > I would appreciate if anyone could let me know wether it is possible to block > a specific address (wesite) when using Internet Explorer. > I am aware that you can adjust the 'rating' to block certain content but > rarther than do this I would prefer to block a specific website so this > cannot be accessed using my browser. > Your help or advice is much appreciated. > > Rob.
Instead of "Ratings" Tab, go to "Approved Sites" Tab and make the site "Never" viewable. arnieh "Eos" wrote: > I would appreciate if anyone could let me know wether it is possible to block > a specific address (wesite) when using Internet Explorer. > I am aware that you can adjust the 'rating' to block certain content but > rarther than do this I would prefer to block a specific website so this > cannot be accessed using my browser. > Your help or advice is much appreciated. > > Rob.
