VPN RDP connection issue
The user is connecting from an XP machine to a Win2003 server at work. The
user has been successfully connecting for year+. Last week the connection
failed. The user can VPN successfully, and then can ping the gateway of the
subnet the servers reside on but no further (apparently - checked random
devices which all failed). The user can still connect to servers in other
subnets.

Meanwhile, other users have absolutely no problems connecting to the
network/servers remotely and continue to work as usual.

Why would this users home PC suddenly fail to have access to this subnet?
What are the possiblities?

Security is lax. There are no firewalls between subnets, no switching
layers. Nothing in the company network of any significance has changed. On
the users home network, a wireless router has been added but then if this
were the problem, seems to me she wouldn't be able to connect at all.

Please feel free to sound off - I'm looking for any angle I might not have
considered.
thanks

Re: VPN RDP connection issue
Have you looked at the event logs on the server side to see if there are any
clues?
