merging collections
I'm trying to create a movie from multiple video files taken with a FLip
camcorder. There are 40 separte files. When I import one it creates a new
collection. I was able to create a video by using the collections one by
one. However, I can not save the project. The reason I belivie is that not
all the clips are present because they are in separate collections. How can
I merge the separate collections? I have tried going to the METAFILE with
the collections but it doesn't show the individual collections.

Re: merging collections
drag and drop from one collection to the one you want is unfortunately the
way forward.

Re: merging collections
you don't to put all you clips in the same collection in order to use them
in a project....

the Flip camcorder lets you copy the files to your computer's hard drive as
AVI or WMV files.... the WMV choice should work fine in Movie Maker, but the
AVI files are DIVX/XVID compressed and may not work, which could be the
reason you're having issues.
