Movie Maker 5.1
I'm trying to import .mpeg files in Movie maker 5.1 to edit a movie. Although
the importing is succesful I am not allowed to drag the video files in the
video timeline. Instead the files go automatically in the audio section. Im
running on an XP Home edition. Any clue why this is happening? Thanks for the
help.

Re: Movie Maker 5.1
WMM in any version AFAIK does not like MPG files in any form. You will
probably need to convert them using another program to a form WMM can
handle. See www.papajohn.org, left column, Import Movie Source files,
Video, MPEG for more information.

Re: Movie Maker 5.1
Info only............not an answer to your question.

There is no MM 5.1

What you are seeing under Help>About is the Windows 5.1 build version.

Look lower down to see the MM version of 2.1.4026
