SP3 can't copy icwutil.dll
I'm installing SP3 via d/l. Got a copy error "Setup cannot copy the file
icwutil.dll Ensure that the location specified below is correct, or change
it and insert "Windows XP system Files" in the drive you specify."

The file location is correct - checked the folder. Clicked Retry twice. If
I d/l a fresh copy of icwutil.dll from MS would this fix the problem?

I've got XP Home SP2 and IE 7.0 running.

Thanks, Terry

Updates are not installed successfully from Windows Update, from Microsoft

Open a notepad and copy and paste the following into it and save as
update.bat on your desktop. Double click the bat file to excute and click
[Yes to register the dlls and reboot your machine and see if that will help!

regsvr32 wuweb.dll
regsvr32 wuapi.dll
regsvr32 wuaueng.dll
regsvr32 wuaueng1.dll
regsvr32 wucltui.dll
regsvr32 wups.dll
regsvr32 wups2.dll

Or try this fix.
