RE: New hardware found - does not show printer (Lexmark X4270)
Try allowing the printer to your firewall.
If you're using Windows Firewall, go to Start -> Control Panel -> - Windows
Firewall.
Go to "Exceptions" and see if Lexmark is in there, or something with your
printer.
If it is, and it's not check marked, check mark it, then click OK. Sometimes
rebooting helps.
If that doesnt, go back to your Firewall and Exceptions, click "Add Program"
and search the list for your printer.
If not in there, click "Browse" and go to "My Computer", then your C Drive,
and Program Files.
Search for Lexmark.
Once you find the folder, find the .exe file and add it to the list. You
might need to reboot.
If this doesn't fix the problem, you may need to call the company for
technical support.
