In Control Panel, under Printers and Faxes, I show an Epson Printer, which is inactive. I tried to delete it. In the status column it shows as "deleting" but it is not deleting it. After I deleted it, and rebooted and Windows XP found and installed the printer, the same printer shows as "Epson Printer Copy 1" in Printers and Faxes. How can I get rid of the printer that shows as "deleting" but is not deleting itself. -- Walter www.rationality.net -
Addendum: The printer installed by Windows as "Epson Printer Copy 1" is working fine. The original "Epson Printer" is shown as offline and deleting. Except, it isn't deleting. -- Walter www.rationality.net - "Walter R." wrote in message news:%23JSI5zHEJHA.952@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > In Control Panel, under Printers and Faxes, I show an Epson Printer, which > is inactive. Never mind. There was a print job pending in the deleted printer. After I deleted the print job. The printer disappeared from the control panel. All is well. -- Walter www.rationality.net - "Walter R." wrote in message news:%23JSI5zHEJHA.952@TK2MSFTNGP03.phx.gbl... > In Control Panel, under Printers and Faxes, I show an Epson Printer, which > is inactive.
