Re: How to disable toggling when clicking in Windows in the taskba
Thank you very much, Kelly!
I tried it, and it worked perfectly.
However, I made this post on behalf of my father who asked for this feature
at his work, because he his annoyed of, when he mistakenly clicks a window
that is already open, he gets to another completely different window (I guess
the mouse has some problems making one-click into double-click very often)
and he does not have administrator privileges. Is there a solution for this?
:) Thanks again!

Re: How to disable toggling when clicking in Windows in the taskba
There is another problem even with administrator privileges:
I'm not sure, but maybe it wasn't line 164. After running the script, I
thought it was working, but some time afterwards all became back as usual. I
guess only when the second click on a window in the taskbar is made in a
split of a second after the first, the windows will not toggle.
Thanks.

I don't think you can change the behavior your experiencing -
basically when you click on a task bar icon, it changes the focus to
that window. But if you click on the icon of a window that already
has the focus, then it minimizes the window, and the focus shifts to
the last open window that had it. Clicking on the icon again will
restore it and regain the focus.
I'm lost as to why this is such a big issue - if he mistakenly clicks
on the focused window and it minimizes, then just click again and it
will open back up. Or he can ignore it and click on the icon to which
he meant to shift the focus.

Re: How to disable toggling when clicking in Windows in the taskba
From here I would have to guess that it is either a focus issue and/or using
the same window.

Prevent Programs from Stealing Focus - Undo (Line 66)

When a window that does not have focus is updated by its program, the
default setting prevents it from becoming the foremost (top) window,
instead, it flashes in the taskbar.
HeldUp is the easiest way to stop windows from disappearing behind other
programs. http://www.johnmacintyre.ca/HeldUp.asp
