Is your copy of Windows a retail one or an OEM one? If it's a retail
one, you should have been given an 800 number to call and activate
easily and quickly.
If it's an OEM copy, no, you may not. The biggest disadvantage of an
OEM copy is that its license ties it permanently to the first computer
it's installed on. It can never legally be moved to another computer,
sold, or given away (except with the original computer).
