mail icon in control panel
I cannot open the mail icon in control panel to setup my Outlook 2007 email
accounts. I double click on it and nothing happens. I also get a registry
error when trying to access email account setup in tools in Outlook. Any
ideas?

RE: mail icon in control panel
I meant to say that the mail icon in control panel opens but when I click on
email accounts, nothing happens.

Re: mail icon in control panel
Repost to the Outlook group, as that is the application giving you trouble.

Try control panel/add remove programs, select office and do a repair.

Re: mail icon in control panel
Create a New Profile (Mail) connected to the correct type of Account, eg pop
or exchange etc, add a data file and the Accounts, and test
