How do I go into BIOS and do settings for boot from CD?
Varies by motherboard manufacturer and BIOS. Usually hitting DEL works, some require F2 or F12, read the owner's manual. "rb" wrote in message news:%23rbtgkuBJHA.3348@TK2MSFTNGP04.phx.gbl... > How do I go into BIOS and do settings for boot from CD? >

This reply means "Read the screen" (and perhaps use the Pause key to prevent information scrolling up and off.) The point is that some monitors warm up so slowly that the first info displayed may not be visible. Remedy: turn on the monitor half a minute before turning on the PC. BIOS settings usually display in three to six pages of menu selections, usually documented on screen what the various settings are and what they do. -- Don Phillipson Carlsbad Springs (Ottawa, Canada)
Ah. OK, yes the setup thing is key here. Thanks.
