Very few times does one actually *need* the monitor drivers. What is needed is the video card drivers. What video card do you have? Unsure? Download, installa nd allow to run "Belarc Advisor" and check out its report. Quick fix: 1. Locate or download drivers to a known folder. 2. In / Control Panel / System / Device Manager wholly remove monitor(s) and reboot. 3. At reboot, the system will recognize the monitor as "new" and prompt you to approve installing drivers.
