Cannot install monitor drivers
Monitor is Benq LCD.

When I try to install the drivers....

Monitor > Default monitor > properties is greyed out

Adapter > properties > Vga Save

I click driver then current status is 'started' then nothing happens.

Very few times does one actually *need* the monitor drivers. What is needed
is the video card drivers.

What video card do you have?

Unsure? Download, installa nd allow to run "Belarc Advisor" and check out
its report. If everything is setup properly (someone installed this system
correctly) you will see what your video card (display adapter) is and then
figure out where to get the latest hardware drivers for it.

Quick fix:
1. Locate or download drivers to a known folder.
2. In / Control Panel / System / Device Manager
wholly remove monitor(s) and reboot.
3. At reboot, the system will recognize the monitor
as "new" and prompt you to approve installing drivers.
If necessary, point the system to the folder name
noted in #1.
