\viewkind4\uc1\pard\f0\fs20 Importing from ADS is outside of my experience. You may have to open a service call with PSS to get more details.

\par Hi,
\par
\par We have configured Commerce Server to pull profile data from an Active
\par directory service. The job runs fine and pull all the users in the ADS. But
\par when we check the values, CS sets some values from another user to a
\par different user if its value is not set. Let me explain it in bit more detail
\par
\par We have two ADS: one internal and one external.
\par
\par The internal ADS has all the internal user information directly under
\par CN=Users
\par
\par The external ADS has users information in a container called
\par OU=ExternalUsers. There are three sub-containers under ExternalUsers i.e
\par OU=SelfRegistered; OU=CustomerCenter; OU=HRExtranet. The external users are
\par divided into these broad categories. There are some User properties like
\par Corporate_Group_Id which are set only for CustomerCenter users.
\par
\par The profile has been set by creating two partitions: one for internal and
\par other for External users with parent URL set to CN=Users and
\par OU=ExternalUsers respectively. When we try importing the profile data, it
\par pulls correct information such a first name, last name, userid etc and the
\par total no of users. But some custom properties like Corporate_Group_Id is
\par pulled wrongly. It is showing corporate group ids for other type of users
\par including internal users (when in reality it is not there). We also tried by
\par creating seperate partitions for each of the ExternalUsers' sub-containers.
\par It still didnt work properly.
\par
\par If we create a seperate profile data source for each of the sub containers,
\par the import works fine. So are we missing anything or is that the way its
\par supposed to work?
\par
\par Any help will be much appreciated.
\par
\par Thanks,
\par Navin
