site manager issue
Hello all,
One user started to have a problem using site manager on his PC. My account
doesn’t work on his pc to run site manager either. Reinstalling software
didn’t help.

This is the error: any suggestions?

The Microsoft Content Management Server proxy component is not correctly
installed.

Error: Automation error

Hi Jason,

see here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/2/5/4250f79a-c3a1-4003-9272-2404e92bb76a/MCMS+2002+-+(complete)+FAQ.htm#81A7072B-DB5B-4808-8A16-4871F69938AE

Usually happens when .NET 3.0 or 3.5 is installed on the box.
You have to uninstall these versions.

Cheers,
Stefan

We also had this problem on a few workstations.
It only appeared on workstations which had it's version installed by
sms, all hands on installation work wonders, a repair on the
installation (from installation media) did the trick.
