education training Host integration server
Where can I find more info to attend a HIS-training.
A while ago I've seen a consolidated page with different course-suppliers,
it doesn't exist anymore. I prefer somewhere in Europe. Who knows more?

Re: education training Host integration server
Pieter,

Unfortunately I don't know of any classroom based training for HIS these days
- there was back in SNA4/HIS 2000 days, but I don't know of anything recently.

There are a bunch of webcasts you can use though at :-

No, yes.
We are still on HIS2004, have 10 servers running with 14.000 3270 users(6
servers internal network and 2 server for external) prime-time and 2 servers
for our (legacy) LU6.2-use. Besides our mainframe and network-activities,
which is my background with 2 other collegaes, we were looking to upgrade our
knowledge on these boxes in a general way. Thanks.

Re: education training Host integration server
Hi Peter,

I'm already given technical courses on HIS in our Bank. If you want I can
discuss with my boss if it could be possible
to give you the same technical courses on configuration (HIS and Mainframe
part).

Are you interested more in the technical background or adminstrative part ?

You could find some Hands-on-Lab on this site :
