Custom External Content Sources
Hi everyone,

I would like to know if there is any way to develop a connector for
sharepoint that enables it to index external data sources, like some (or
all) rows from an SQL Server Table in a corporate database or in an Oracle
database ou in a remote data available thru any external component.

Any ideas that don't need to generate flat files versions of those documents
(or information) on disc?

I would like to treat any information as a indexed document in SPS, like
many DM software does (like HummingBird) as well SPS does with those content
sources:
- Microsoft Exchange Server public folders
- File share
- Web content
- Windows SharePoint Services-based sites and SharePoint Team
Services-based sites
- Lotus Notes database

Thanks in advance,

Srgio
