IIS - Sharepoint site not accessible after install of Symantec end
Hi.

I have a major screwup on my hand and I need some help. On my server running
sharepoint services 3.0, Installed Symantec Endpoint, A message said it
would install it's own site but leave the others along. After the install the
SP site is no longer accessible, in IIS manager the it appears that the
Default folder have been copied over from the settings from Symantecs install.

Have anyone experience this issue b/f and any clue on how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Re: IIS - Sharepoint site not accessible after install of Symantec end
Hi Ramy,

What error message do you get accessing your wss sites? None of them are
accessible (central admin and team site??)
I would suggest backing up your wss databases in first line if you haven't
done it so far.

Did you try to run sharepoint config wizard? Fixing IIS?

If all that will not work its better to restore everything from the backup
(fastest way) and then ask Symantec for details or/and test such
installation in some test enviroment.

Anna
