Move from Windows built-in team services to portal server.
I am seeking opinions on the portability to Portal server from using the
built-in Windows sharepoint services.
We have plans to install a company wide portal that we will also be
extending to our service providers, however we are unlikely to start this
project for another 6 months (which really means 8).
In the meantime I would like to take advantage of some of sharepoints
functionality built into Windows (e.g. set up a document library that links
to our CRM installation).

I am rather hesitant to do this as I do not want to lose the work that we do
when we finally move to a full portal installation.

Does anyone have an opinion on how easy it is to migrate/upgrade between the
two? has anyone done this before? Is there any good documentation out there
on this subject?

TIA
Saira
