\par I'm trying to install BizTalk 2006 on my XP Professional SP2 notebook.
\par Its a single server deployment - SQL Server 2005 and VS 2005 are also
\par installed on the notebook. Installation
\par goes through fine but i run into configuration issues. I've gone
\par through some of the posts in this newsgroup and they are similar, but
\par none of the suggestions/resolutions
\par mentioned have rectified my issue yet.
\par
\par I keep seeing the following lines in the log file
\par
\par [11:49:15 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5125) Returning
\par error description: <Exception Message="The SSO service account must be
\par specified." Source="SSO" HelpID=""/>
\par
\par [12:08:30 PM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5125) Returning
\par error description: <Exception Message="The secret backup file password
\par must be at least 7 characters." Source="SSO"
\par
\par [12:08:42 PM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5125) Returning
\par error description: <Exception Message="The confirmed password does not
\par match the password." Source="SSO" HelpID=""/>
\par
\par
\par This shows up a few times in the log file and then i get the following
\par failure (which i'm guessing is when the configuration attempts a
\par rollback)
\par
\par [12:10:20 PM Error ConfigHelper] Cannot drop database "SSODB" because
\par it is currently in use.
\par
\par
\par The notebook is standalone, not part of any domain.
\par
\par Also the account used to configure the SSO service is the an account
\par that is a part of the local administrators group
\par
\par The first three errors indicate that there is some issue with the
\par accounts & passwords. But i'm sure i've got the passwords right
\par
\par Any ideas?
\par
\par Thanks in advance
\par
