BizTalk 2006 XP professional SP2 SSO configuration issue
I'm trying to install BizTalk 2006 on my XP Professional SP2 notebook.
Its a single server deployment - SQL Server 2005 and VS 2005 are also
installed on the notebook. Installation
goes through fine but i run into configuration issues. I've gone
through some of the posts in this newsgroup and they are similar, but
none of the suggestions/resolutions
mentioned have rectified my issue yet.

I keep seeing the following lines in the log file

[11:49:15 AM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5125) Returning
error description: <Exception Message="The SSO service account must be
specified." Source="SSO" HelpID=""/>

[12:08:30 PM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5125) Returning
error description: <Exception Message="The secret backup file password
must be at least 7 characters." Source="SSO"

[12:08:42 PM Info SSOServerCfg] (ssoconfigobj2.cpp:5125) Returning
error description: <Exception Message="The confirmed password does not
match the password." Source="SSO" HelpID=""/>

This shows up a few times in the log file and then i get the following
failure (which i'm guessing is when the configuration attempts a
rollback)

[12:10:20 PM Error ConfigHelper] Cannot drop database "SSODB" because
it is currently in use.

The notebook is standalone, not part of any domain.

Also the account used to configure the SSO service is the an account
that is a part of the local administrators group

The first three errors indicate that there is some issue with the
accounts & passwords. But i'm sure i've got the passwords right

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance

RE: BizTalk 2006 XP professional SP2 SSO configuration issue
Bhaskar,

The contents of the log file exceed the amount of text that can be pasted
here. I'll forward the log file to your mail box and once we resolve the
issue we can post the relevant sections of the config file together with the
resolution for the benefit of the newsgroup.

I hope that is alright

Thanks
