Remove of Exchange 2000 does not work
Hello !

I recently migrated Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003. There is still
8 Exchange 2000 servers wich I´m trying to remove, but it does not work.

The 8 Exchange 2000 servers does not have any Public Folder stores.
The 8 Exchange servers hosts one Mailbox Store per server. No mailboxes there
but "SMTP", "System Attendant" & "SystemMailbox".

Okay, so far..

I have migrates the offline address book, RUS, Routing Master, All Public
Folders like system folders and user folders and those kind of things.

The Postmaster mailbox and attribute in
"CN=Configuration,DC=SUBDOMAIN,DC=DOMAIN,DC=COM\CN=Services\CN=Microsoft
Exchange\CN=EXCHANGE\CN=Global Settings\CN=Message Delivery" Seems to be
right.

Searching with LDP.exe does not spot any users or groups pointing to any
mailbox store
on the old Exchange 2000 servers when I check the "msExchHomeServerName",
"msExchAdminMailbox" or "msExchExpansionServerName"

All seems to be fine.

Well, let´s show the error I receive when trying to do the "Remove" option
in the
installation program i Add Remove programs. The error says:

"Setup encountered an error while checking prerequisites for the component
"microsoft exchange" 0x80072030 (8240): There is no such object on the
server."

This is from "Exchange Server Setup Progress" -logfile
