I have a single Exchange 2000 Server on W2K Server running AD and just about everything you can imagine. Not sure why the previous admin did this but........... I need to get to EX2007 and my plan was to introduce 2 new Windows 2003 DC's and transfer all the rolls from the 2000 server to the new 2003 DC's. My question is: Can I introduce EX2007 if I still have a DC that is running 2000? I'm a bit gun shy about demoting it even with the other two 2003 DC's running. Thanks
Hi, It should be possible to install exchange 2007 if you have a minimum 1 global catalog server running windows server 2003 SP1. (But I have heard of problems because the 2007 installation program tries to contact the 2000 server) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996719.aspx Leif "Mike" skrev i meddelelsen news:494CDB67-515B-4D3D-A731-4D2E58C03428@microsoft.com... >I have a single Exchange 2000 Server on W2K Server running AD and just >about > everything you can imagine.
