Hello, Does anyone know how can i disconnect an outlook user (mapi) from exchange. For example i want to work on a certain user to make some backups and restaurations but the user is currently logged in outlook but he left for lunch :), so i want to know if there is any possiblity to disconnect him from the exchange server using ESM or any other tool available on the Exchange (2000 or 2003) CD or resource KIT (no third-parities) Thank You -- Razvan Dragomir, MCSA, Exchange & Windows System Administrator
Hi, It is not possible to disconnect a single Outlook user without closing the client itself. It is however possible to disconnect all Outlook users - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/288894/en-us Leif "Razvan Dragomir" wrote in message news:D8EC922F-DDB9-4FCA-AC12-52078D03AFC5@microsoft.com... > Hello, > Does anyone know how can i disconnect an outlook user (mapi) from > exchange. > For example i want to work on a certain user to make some backups and > restaurations but the user is currently logged in outlook but he left for > lunch :), so i want to know if there is any possiblity to disconnect him > from > the exchange server using ESM or any other tool available on the Exchange > (2000 or 2003) CD or resource KIT (no third-parities) > > Thank You > -- > Razvan Dragomir, > MCSA, Exchange & Windows System Administrator >
