Update Rollup
Exchange 2000 \ windows 2000

I found out that we are not on the latest rollup for exchange. Our current
build is Version 6.0 (Build 6249.4 Service Pack 3)

So I downloaded the lastest update. But I got the following error when I
tried to run it.
Update Rollup for Exchange 2000 (KB870540) Setup Error
Setup has detected that the version of the service pack installed on your
system is lower than what is necessary to apply this hotfix. At a minimum,
you must have Service Pack 3 installed.

Any ideas on this one?? I'm at SP3 already...
Thanks,
Hutch

Hmm. That's a tough one. Maybe try uninstalling SP3 and reinstalling it,
then try the rollup again?

You posted your message nearly a week ago. Did you resolve it and if so,
how?

Re: Update Rollup
Jim,

Yes I got it resolved. I found out that there is a registry key that you can
put into place to tell your system what service level you are at. Once I did
that it worked fine.
